Surprise in Library

It was my Principle of Accounts GCSE paper today in school and I have honestly did terribly because I got mixed up between Capital Owed and Capital Employed, further more my balance sheet did not balance and I couldn't accurately answer a lot of the theory questions. Ugrh what a pain. I was absolutely depressed until my best friend sort of cheered me up when we walked home together chatting about stuff.

On the way home, I thought of dropping by to a shopping mall to get my best friend her birthday gift, unfortunately, I only realized how light my wallet actually was when I reached there, however I wouldn't want my trip to be wasted so I made my way to the Public Library in the mall, I loved the library, its the most conducive place for studying. As I went there, I first made haste to the book shelves under 'Young Fiction' then noticed that majority of the book under that category are about mainstream fantasies and childish adventures with over artistic book covers which I wouldn't read at all. Next, I walked to the 'Fiction' section of bookshelves ( where adults read ) to find for the books which I can spend my holiday with, as I walked along I came across book 'One Summer Time' it caught my attention because the book, not just that its thickness is reasonable, it looked old and rusty ( shows that it has been borrowed by many people = good read )  and its 'New York Times #1 Bestseller' however, as I flipped open to the summary, I immediately sighed as the plot was about a guy was a about to die due to an illness and was spending his last few days with his family on a vacation, ironically, his wife passed away unexpectedly through a car accident. This guy then struggles hard to rebuild his family, one day he took his kids along with him to go to their mom's ( his wife's ) childhood home to spend their days. At the end, the guy experienced the fate of love, meeting a new women which would then become part of his family. How gloomy! So I put back to the shelf.

Later, I moved to the other book shelves under the same section, walked around for a few minutes constantly trying to find the perfect one for me, then I came across a book titled 'How the Light gets in' by Louis Penny, its a fiction about detectives, both title and book cover was really captivating but looked really new, it's book cover almost flawless. As I opened it and started flipping through, scanning the pages... a shadow was visible through my left peripheral vision, and then a tall figure was nearing me and then I realized that it was a tall man. To my big surprise, he approached me, as I looked up, I saw Mr Vincent, my Principle of Accounts teacher, smiling broadly ear to ear with his eyes sparklingly under the library light, wearing a plain bleach T-shirt and  Bermuda shorts ( It was the first time me seeing him wearing so casually, he wore formally every time in school ). I smiled and then he asked me about how my paper was, I told him that it was ok, I didn't want to further spoil my impression in front of him and also didn't want him to be disappointed, knowing that after so long I still did not learn from my mistakes. The conversation faded really quickly because I made not much replies and was only simply smiling at him. I was a little nervous and although I had a lot to say and wished to talk more to him but I did not find the guts on the spot and ever since he approached me my brain seemed to start processing slower. How I wish I can go back to the moment when we met, he's a really charismatic, skillful and absolutely friendly and caring teacher. After our conversation faded, I went to look for another book.

And guess what? I got the book 'Changing Habbits' by Debbie Maccomber  ( Is this all God's calling? This book is a really special novel to me and might change my life forever, but I won't reveal what is it about it just yet. ) . I would be sharing about it after I finish reading and share more of my secrets, linked to this particular book on the coming post! I'll write till here, cya!
